Controller


ROLE:


Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



+ Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.


+ Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.


+ Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.


+ Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.


+ Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.


+ Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.


+ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.


+ Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.


+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor's degree in a financial or business related field required. MBA, CPA, or other certifications would be beneficial. Equivalent work experience will be considered. ,


QUALIFICATIONS:



+ Demonstrated ability to manage processes, develop standards, and analyze information.


+ Proficient in the use of financial software, accounting, corporate finance, and auditing.


+ Adept in developing budgets and tracking budget expenses.


+ Proponent of performance management.


+ Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.


+ Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals.


+ High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant platforms.


+ Ability to interact with employees, customers and suppliers portraying a positive company image and inspiring trust.


+ Solid work history.


+ Ability to develop and work within a team environment.


+ Flexible work schedule.


+ Experienced user of SAP.
